What this site collects

This site does not run advertising trackers, session replay, or cross-site tracking scripts. It does not currently run any analytics. If analytics are added in the future, they will be privacy-conscious (no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers) and this policy will be updated first.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, the category you chose, and your message are sent to a small service Black Swan Group LLC runs on Amazon Web Services, which emails them to hello@blackswan.dev through Amazon Simple Email Service, with your address set as the reply-to. The form service does not store your message; its operational logs record only whether a submission was sent, never its content. Information you send, through the form or by email, is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not sold or shared with third parties.

Phone calls and text messages

Calls and text messages to +1 (206) 809-7725 are handled by a call-screening service that Black Swan Group LLC operates on its own infrastructure, with Twilio as the telephone carrier. When you call, the service may check your number against carrier data (such as line type, registered caller name, and caller-ID verification), and may ask callers it doesn’t recognize to press a key before the call connects. Unanswered calls can leave a voicemail, which is recorded and stored. For each call and text, the service keeps a record of the number, time, and outcome, and it stores the content of text messages.

We send text messages only in reply to people who have texted us or asked us to text them. We don’t send marketing or recurring messages. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, START to resume, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Phone numbers, text-messaging opt-in information, and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Logs and hosting

This site is served as static files through a content delivery network. The hosting and CDN provider records ordinary connection-level logs (such as request URL, timestamp, response status, and IP address) for operating and securing the service — the same baseline logging any web host performs. Black Swan Group LLC does not layer additional tracking, analytics, or profiling on top of that.

Cookies

This site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Any cookies introduced for essential site functionality in the future will be documented here.

Retention

Contact-form messages and email correspondence sent to hello@blackswan.dev are retained only as long as needed to respond to and, where relevant, keep a record of the inquiry. Call records and voicemails follow the same standard. Text-message content is deleted automatically after 90 days, and carrier lookup results are cached for 30 days. Connection-level hosting logs (see “Logs and hosting” above) are retained according to the hosting provider’s standard operational schedule, not indefinitely.
